Masters of the Bench

Mmasekgoa Masire-Mwamba, is currently Commonwealth Secretariat Deputy.  In her previous roles in Botswana, Mrs Masire-Mwamba was responsible for promoting economic development, investment and private sector engagement.  She is currently the Deputy Secretary-General for the Commonwealth Secretariat with responsibility for the Political, Legal and Constitutional Divisions amongst others.  She holds a BSC in Electronics and Physics and an MBA in International Business.  She delivered the Middle Temple lecture in February 2009 on constitutional development in the Commonwealth and later this year will qualify for her LLB through study with the University of South Africa.
