Masters of the Bench

Lord Justice of Appeal since 2005, previously High Court Judge in the Chancery Division (from 1996).  During 25 years' practice at the Chancery Bar, developed special interests (in addition to mainstream areas such as land law and trusts) in the law of pensions, that of charity, and that of building societies.  Since appointment to the Bench I have gained extensive experience of other areas including insolvency, intellectual property and competition.
