Masters of the Bench

Conor was a Fellow in Law at Emmanuel College for seven years before moving to King’s College London in the early 1990s.  From 2002-2009 he was the first Rausing Director of LSE’s new Centre for the Study of Human Rights, and is now Professor of Human Rights Law at LSE, as well as Director of its Institute of Public Affairs.  A prolific journalist and author, his most recent book is Liberty and Security (Polity).  He is a founding member of Matrix Chambers and has appeared in many cases before numerous courts.
